Jack
A white and brown mix-breed sheep.
Jack's Story
Jack and his twin sister Jill were born at Longmeadow in October 2009. Their mother, Sherri, was rescued in June 2009 from the bootheel of Missouri along with other sheep, goats, horses and a pony. They were living in dangerous and unsanitary conditions.
Jack's Health
Jack's routine health care includes hoof trimming every few months, grooming, and yearly vaccinations.
Jack's Personality
Jack and Jill were born at night and discovered by the ranch caretaker when he was making nightly rounds. That morning, other ranch employees and volunteers eagerly welcomed the cute, little pair. Jack's sweet personality and handsome looks stole the hearts of everyone. He quickly learned to walk on a harness and attended his first Barn Buddy event in March 2010 when he was just five months old. He is now a pro at attending events and gets along well with the other Barn Buddies.
